Baltimore, like Philadelphia, has a street litter, water way trash problem. They are taking several steps to tackle their litter – water trash problem that Philadelphia’s Mayor Nutter and  City Council should consider.

Here’s Baltimore’s ABC 2 News report that gives an overview of their street litter – waterway clean up efforts (link).

Baltimore’s efforts include:

  • Regular city-wide street cleaning
  • Water wheel in the Inner Harbor
  • Trash boom on the Back River.
