New Graffiti on SEPTA and PENNDOT Structures: 2/19/12

Less than a week after SEPTA crews removed Devon Village – E Mt Airy Ave Bridge graffiti (link), taggers have struck again.  This time they hit SEPTA’s Sprague Field shed on 3 sides and PENNDOT’s E Mt Airy Ave Bridge South wall and West Abutement.

SEPTA Crew Removes Devon Village Wall and PENNDOT’s E Mt Airy Ave Bridge Graffiti

SEPTA’s graffiti crew was at work early this morning removing the Devon Village Wall and PENNDOT’s E Mt Airy Bridge graffiti. A special thanks to Jeff Knueppel and Ed Wallace of SEPTA for getting this done so quickly.

The quicker the graffiti is removed, the better our chances that the taggers will stop hitting the wall and bridge.

While we still have our work cut out for us to get the Devon Village Wall and PENNDOT’s E Mt Airy Ave Bridge properly restored to an acceptable level, we have eliminated the graffiti insult on top of the eyesore nature of the Wall and Bridge.

I will keep you posted as our ongoing Wall and E Mt Airy Bridge improvement efforts continue.
