Mt Airy’s graffiti problem continues, with dozens of new tags in the May 1 – May 16 period. Here is a map of the most recent tags.

The graffiti ranges from Cresheim Valley Drive to Upsal and Greene Streets. I have started to see graffiti in Chestnut Hill, including by the Starbucks near thte top of the Hill and the Garden & Flower shop at the bottom of the Hill near Cresheim Valley Drive.
The Mt Airy BID area was extensively tagged, including the following locations:

- Area around WAWA
- Area near Lovett Library
- Mt Airy USA

- Germantown and Good St
SEPTA was tagged at the R8 Upsal Station (Green & Upsal Streets), the R8 bridge over Cherokee Street, the R8 Bridge over W Mt Pleasant Ave and a utility box at the R7 MtAiry Station.

I will be attending the 14th Police District Town Watch meeting on Monday, 7 PM to discuss graffiti with Officer Johns and the Town Watch groups. I will also be attending the Mt Airy Bid Clean & Safe Committee meeting on May 24 to discuss Mt Airy graffiti.
